Our track record of quantitative impact and past achievements, such as winning a QS Quacquarelli Symonds Reimagine Education Award in 2023 under the category of Science of Learning. Our quantitative impact indicators for the past five years, further validate the extent of our reach and impact. In 2023, we were awarded $20,000 under the World Bank's Youth Innovation Fund through the Youth2Youth initiative.
  • THEORY OF CHANGE
Our theory of change begins by addressing the root cause challenges of the current educational policies resulting in an outdated education system, inadequate upskilling of educators and limited access to STEM resources. Through our research and innovation programs we gather data to create sustainable emerging STEM programs. We actively engage stakeholders, policy makers and incorporate community perspectives into our programs. This engagement fosters dialogue and advocacy for educational reform, leading to policy changes that align the curriculum with the demands of the 4th industrial revolution. Zambian young people aged between 5 and 30 take part in Genius Academy programs like STEM camps and code camps. In the short term, our goals include reaching 100,000 learners annually through Genius Academy programs and contributing to education policy reform by implementing a comprehensive STEM curriculum. In the short term, our goals include reaching 100,000 learners annually through Genius Academy programs and contributing to education policy reform by implementing a comprehensive STEM curriculum. In the long term, we aspire to reach 6 million Zambian youth with STEM and 4th industrial revolution projects and establish Genius Research Centers for innovation. To measure our impact, we will assess user satisfaction, project efficiency, and project specifications through qualitative and quantitative evaluations. Final change is measured by a change in educational systems and incorporation of our curriculum into mainstream systems of education. This includes evaluating the proportion of learners with STEM skills, the percentage demonstrating digital literacy, and parity indices before and after program implementation. Ultimately, success for Genius Education Zambia"s Project 4th Industrial Revolution entails shaping education policies, developing a comprehensive STEM curriculum, building the capacity of educators, and actively engaging with the community.
